My Bloody Valentine 3D
So Adam, Bobby and I just saw my bloody valentine 3D, and I want to share a few of my thoughts. First, the 3D glasses were very impressive. They seem to filter out a certain portion of light each to allow for the 3D image from the double, but when wearing them normally you actually see normally (except the screen on bobby’s phone freaked out, and looking at other people wearing the glasses...

The Case for The Linux Netbook
I have been thinking a lot, lately, about what I really do with my computer, and I have pretty much realized that, as far as mobile use goes, I would probably be happy with a netbook, so long as I could be assured of having desktop access when the going gets rough (I do processor heavy simulations as part of my research assistant job, I work with my photographs, and I like to PC game).

So I realized today, when looking for photos of debaters for yearbook, that very few pictures are taken at debate tournaments. Its probably because everyone is focused on either prepping for their next round or working with their debaters (in the case of judges and coaches) and noone takes pictures… the pictures i did find were very EH… sorry!

The Miracle Berry Experiment
So a bunch of people in my SSR class, including the teacher, and Nick, tried Miracle Berry Tablets this morning. I was one of them. The experience was crazy… first off, the tablets are disgusting…. second, the effect seems to vary. Eating a grapefruit was no different, nor was onion, but i think that is because you smell the onion beforehand (it was chopped). The first real difference...

Finished. Finally. Princeton was the hardest- its essay was ridiculous. I shouldn’t complain, since I only ever had to do 4 applications, but it was really difficult regardless. I am glad to be done. It sort of feels like my high school life is over now. Second Semester is going to be amazing. I want to learn more programming than I know now (perhaps ruby), have lightsaber duels, and wear...
